I worked in a group of four to create this brochure for our university’s writing center. We used mainly InDesign (with a bit of Photoshop for image editing) to create it. A partner and I did most of the design and image creation, while the other two members of our group did most of the actual writing.
Our goal was to create a document that would inform readers of everything they need to know before they visit the writing center, with the idea that the brochures would be passed out in classes when the writing center is introduced. We kept it on brand by using the same color scheme as the writing center’s website, and by using photos provided by the writing center.
I have included this in my portfolio to demonstrate my ability to use inDesign to create print documents. Additionally, it shows that I can work in a team to create cohesive, effective documents.
